What this page covers

System Requirements helps your team confirm the basic access, browser, document, and environment prerequisites before using Smartflow.

Before you start

  • You have an active Smartflow account.
  • Your administrator has assigned the right role for your work.
  • Your IT team has confirmed the approved deployment boundary.

User access requirements

  • Account - Your account is active and you can sign in.
  • Role - Your role allows the task you need to perform.
  • Browser - Use a current enterprise-supported browser.
  • Network - Access Smartflow through the approved bank network path.

Supported document inputs

Smartflow is designed for loan documents such as credit agreements, amendments, covenant materials, and related onboarding files.

Use documents that are:

  1. Digitally available as PDF or another approved upload format.
  2. Complete enough for review.
  3. Legible enough for extraction.
  4. Approved for use inside your Smartflow environment.

Minimum environment sizing

Sizing is confirmed during deployment scoping. These are starting points for planning.

  • Compute - Start with 8 vCPUs for pilot; plan 16 vCPUs or more for production.
  • Memory - Start with 32 GB for pilot; plan 64 GB or more for production.
  • Storage - Start with 500 GB SSD for pilot; plan 2 TB SSD or more for production.
  • GPU - Optional for pilot; recommended when high extraction throughput is needed.

Network requirements

  • User browser to Smartflow - Lets users access the application.
  • Identity provider to Smartflow - Supports sign-in and user access controls.
  • Smartflow to approved downstream systems - Supports exports where configured.
  • Smartflow to licensing service - Supports license validation without document data.

Tips

  • Confirm user roles before the first training session.
  • Test with a small set of representative documents before a larger rollout.
  • Ask IT to confirm network and identity prerequisites before go-live planning.

Troubleshooting

  • You cannot sign in -> Check whether your account is active and assigned to the right role.
  • Upload fails -> Check file type, file size, and whether the document is inside the approved data boundary.
  • Extraction is slow -> Ask your administrator whether the deployment is sized for the current document volume.
